1. Information we collect
We only collect what we genuinely need in order to serve you well:
- Booking details — your name, mobile number, locality, chosen service, preferred date and time, and any notes you add to the appointment form.
- Contact details — the phone number you call or message us from.
- Service history — a record of the treatments you have had with us, so your stylist can pick up where you left off and avoid repeating anything that didn't suit you.
- Basic technical data — standard information your browser sends to any website, such as device type, browser, and approximate region. This is not used to identify you personally.
We do not collect payment card details through this website. All payments are made in person at the salon.
2. How we use your information
- To confirm, schedule and manage your appointment.
- To contact you about your booking — a confirmation, a reminder, or a change of timing.
- To prepare properly for your visit, including any allergies or sensitivities you have told us about.
- To improve our services based on the feedback we receive.
- To occasionally share offers or salon news — only if you have asked us to.
We will never sell, rent or trade your personal information to anyone.
3. How bookings are handled
The appointment form on this website does not store your details on a server. When you submit it, your details are formatted into a WhatsApp message which opens in your own WhatsApp application. You remain in control — nothing is sent until you press send. Once you do, the message is delivered to our salon number and is subject to WhatsApp's own privacy terms, which you can read at whatsapp.com/legal/privacy-policy.
4. Cookies and analytics
This website does not use advertising cookies or third-party tracking pixels. We may use your browser's local session storage for small conveniences — for example, remembering that our chat assistant has already greeted you during your visit. This information stays on your device and is cleared when you close the tab.
Some content is loaded from third-party services (Google Fonts for typography, Google Maps for the location map, and Instagram for our feed). These providers may collect their own technical data under their respective privacy policies.
5. Our chat assistant
The GURU chat assistant on this website answers questions using a fixed, pre-written knowledge base about our services and timings. Conversations are not transmitted to or stored on any server. If you tell it your name, that is kept only in your browser for the duration of your visit and is erased when you close the tab.
6. Photographs
We are proud of our work and sometimes photograph it for our portfolio or Instagram. We will always ask for your permission first, and you are free to decline without it affecting your service in any way. If you have previously agreed and later change your mind, tell us and we will remove the image.
7. How long we keep your information
We keep booking and service records only for as long as they are useful to serve you — typically up to three years from your last visit — or for longer where the law requires it. After that, records are securely deleted.
8. Keeping your information safe
We take reasonable and appropriate measures to protect your information from loss, misuse and unauthorised access. Access to guest records is limited to salon staff who need it to do their job. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we take our responsibility here seriously.
9. Your rights
You may, at any time:
- Ask what information we hold about you.
- Ask us to correct anything that is wrong or out of date.
- Ask us to delete your details from our records.
- Ask us to stop sending you offers or promotional messages.
- Withdraw permission for the use of your photographs.

10. Children
We happily welcome children into the salon for haircuts, but they must be accompanied by a parent or guardian. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18 without a parent or guardian making the booking on their behalf.
